Yesterday WAS Yesterday
Happy Friday Guys!! I hope you all had an amazing week. I woke up at like 5:30am this morning, and surprisingly was well rested. The brain was in high gear and I have yet to even get out of the bed. So many thoughts about life and the Beauty that it is. Unfortunately we sometimes get stuck in moments that were created to be just that. A moment. Whether it was a sad and depressing moment that we want to stay in just because we have gone insane for 5 minutes and forgot about how amazingly Fabulous we are. You got dumped. Your bank account is on E, and the bills are piling up. It can even be the most intensely satisfying moment when everything is going great. You got the jeans you wanted and you didn’t pay full price. You got the job you wanted, and they’ve given you a higher salary than you expected. Point is life happens in cycles and the next moment won’t be the same. How often do we “F” ourselves mentally not only causing headaches (cause we send our brainwaves into overdrive trying to make since of something that we aren’t even supposed to be stressing), but not to mention fine lines on our foreheads when we make those not so flattering facial expressions. Let’s be honest there is nothing cute about that. Soooo…dudes & dudettes, how about we all attempt to just get over it, even if it was the most Fabulous moment that you have never seen before. WHY?! Well because the next moment that you are going to be blessed with may hold something so dear and precious as a simple smile to a stranger who doesn’t even have someone to talk to. But we get so stuck in people and places and things that we may miss it. The truth is that it is awesome to celebrate and enjoy the moments we may never see again. However you have got to believe that your life is more than moments that satisfy you. What about things that we do that have an impact on people we don’t even know. I know, I know we can’t be everything to everybody but how will we know if we aren’t a blessing to ourselves and get over sh*t. Seriously. Yesterday WAS Yesterday. We can not go back and re-live the moment, nor do we have the power to change anything that has happened already. But there is some good news. We can all practice the gift of life! I know it sounds simple, of course we’re breathing. But are we living? Its not deep at all so don’t make that face that will give you lines sooner than necessary. Living most certainly requires you to enjoy the great moments in life. But a bigger part of living is expecting even greater moments whether it’s in a city you never heard of, or with a person you’ve never seen before. Think about this. You’ve never seen this moment before in your life. As you are reading this where ever you may be, doing whatever it is that tickles your fancy. This second right now is new. The most Beautiful thing of all about that is as long as there is breath in your body, there are so many more moments to come. One of the benefits of the moments is the lessons they sometimes bring. Have a Beautilicious day!!
